I had the wonderful experience of hiring Jeff over the summer when I needed to get away for a little while, but I wasn't content with just sitting around in a hotel doing things I could do at home. I needed a new adventure and that's exactly what I got! I have never backpacked before, so I was nervous about doing it for the first time. But Jeff was so helpful in not only making sure I had what I needed, but he also took the time to make sure I understood as well, for my own future endeavors! Through the hike itself, he was also very patient and motivating (and a fun conversationalist) and I'm sure I don't have to say what a relief it was to have the gear already provided. Especially when you're someone who's just trying it out for the first time, like I was. Jeff was knowledgeable about the areas as well! I'd recommend this to anyone.

Let me tell you something about Jeff: He is a master of the outdoors in his own right. I thought I knew how to get around on a backpacking trip, but Jeff showed me the ropes properly. Our trip was to Linville Gorge, North Carolina in 2013 and it was an amazing experience. I was not well prepared, but Jeff surely was with all the right equipment and knowledge. Jeff knew how to navigate the back trails of the mountain landscape and set up camp each night in a well positioned area. By the end of the excursion, I was amazed I even had the opportunity to see such a beautiful remote area and it was all made possible with Jeff's skills. I would definitely go on another backpacking trip with Jeff and recommend him to anyone else looking for a fulfilling outdoors experience.
