Spring-Fall
Herman Gulch (easy-moderate)
Travel through iconic Herman Gulch and get amazing views of Mt. Parnassus, Mt. Bethel and Pettingell Peak and its connected class 5 climb "The Citadel". This route has both multi-night backpacking and single day trips available and is suitable for all levels of hiker. This area is great for hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, bouldering, and camping.
Trip includes: Professional Mountain Guide and day hike or backpacking gear and essentials
Trip Duration: Day trip- 4 hours; Overnight- 2+ days
Location: Just west of Georgetown (45 min west of Denver), Colorado at the Herman Gulch Trailhead.

Silver Dollar Lakes (easy-moderate)
Silver Dollar Lakes is a great place to hike and camp. Travel down the trail to get great views of alpine lakes, the 14,000 ft Mt. Bierstadt, and often times mountain goats! This route has both multi-night backpacking and single day trips available and is suitable for all levels of hiker. This area is great for hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, bouldering, and camping.

Trip Duration: Day trip- 4 hours; Overnight- 2+ days
Location: South of Georgetown (45 min west of Denver) on Guanella Pass at the Silver Dollar Lakes Trailhead.

Mt Sniktau and Grizzle Peak 13er summits (easy-moderate)
Want to bag some 13ers with Lockwood Backcountry Guide Service? These 13ers are very doable at any level with an experienced guide. Cornices of ice in the winter and views from the top of the world year round. Begin in alpine at 12,000ft and hike up iconic Colorado 13ers Mt. Sniktau, Grizzly Peak, and Cupid Peak. This entire route is at alpine and has some of the best views of beautiful 14,000ft Torrey's Peak. This route is best for single day trips and is suitable for all levels of hiker. This area is great for hiking, snowshoeing, and mountaineering.

Argentine Pass 4x4 Tours
Do you want to enjoy the views of Colorado from 13,000ft in elevation and the secluded backcountry of the Rocky Mountains, but are not as much into hiking? Our company is permitted to run 4x4 tours past historic mining communities and mines, up 4x4 mountain passes that give incredible landscape views for miles and miles.
Trip includes: Professional 4x4 Guide, lunch and snacks.

Winter
Snowshoeing Adventures
Hiking in the Winter? Absolutely! In this adventure, we take you into the backcountry with more specialized gear like snowshoes (for loft) and microspikes (for traction). Snowshoeing is hard work, but our guides will break trail so you can see the backcountry of Colorado in winter isolation.
Trip includes: Professional guide, technical equipment, lunch and snacks.

Snowshelter/Igloo camping
Camping in Colorado's Rocky mountains the Winter!?! In this adventure, we take you into the backcountry for a night or more of camping in a true snowshelter that our team built the day before. These shelters provide a unique backcountry experience, and can be as warm inside as the summer night air in High Rockies.
Trip includes: Professional guide, technical equipment, Camping gear , meals and snacks.
